Oxford Preparatory School (OPS) is excited to share a major milestone in the future growth of our campus and the continued advancement of opportunities for our students. In the past week, OPS received USDA loan approval for a $20,000,000 construction loan with a 35-year term to fund the construction and soft costs associated with our Innovation Hall and athletics field project.

This important step moves Oxford Prep significantly closer to beginning construction on Innovation Hall, a new approximately 55,000-square-foot facility designed to support the continued growth of our academic, arts, library, athletics, and student programming spaces. The project is planned to support a 33% enrollment expansion, growing OPS to approximately 1,200 students and helping the school serve more families in our community.
Oxford Prep is also pleased to announce that, in the past week, the school finalized the purchase of an adjacent 13-acre parcel on Landis Road. This land addition creates the opportunity to add a baseball field and potentially a softball field as part of the school’s long-term campus development vision.

Innovation Hall will help address the growing needs of the OPS community by providing new instructional and specialty spaces, including additional classrooms, a lower school library/media center, an additional expanded gymnasium, fitness and weight training room, and expanded spaces for electives and student programs. The broader project is designed to better align campus facilities with the caliber of Oxford Prep’s academic program and student experience.
Hubrich Contracting was previously selected as the project’s general contractor through a formal RFQ process. At this time, final due diligence items related to construction loan closing and permitting are underway, and OPS anticipates beginning construction in June with completion targeted for summer 2027.
While USDA financing provides the foundation needed to move the project forward, Oxford Prep expects there will also be meaningful opportunities for families, businesses, alumni, and community supporters to contribute to the success of this expansion. These future support opportunities will be focused especially on furniture, fixtures, equipment, and curriculum enhancements that will help ensure Innovation Hall opens as a fully equipped, high-impact learning environment for students. The draft project case identifies these FF&E needs as essential to maximizing the educational value of the new facility, particularly in STEM, library, arts, and wellness spaces.
This milestone represents more than a construction update. It reflects Oxford Prep’s continued commitment to nurturing potential, inspiring excellence, and developing leaders through a learning environment that meets the needs of today’s students and tomorrow’s growth.
